The 1-Year Extended Warranty extends the manufacturer warranty by 1 year from the date of your purchase of the machine.
The way it works - you get 2 years through the manufacturer, and you can get an additional year for $24.95 giving you 3 years of coverage instead of 2.
The reason we highly recommend this is because there are no replacement parts for the SoClean 2 so if something goes wrong outside of the warranty period you would basically need a new unit. BUT, within the Extended Warranty period, we would take care of you and send you a brand new unit.
